Fall 2017 Welcome

The Department of Global Studies at UC Santa Barbara is excited to welcome our new, incoming M.A. and Ph.D. graduate students! An informal reception will be held from 4:30 – 6:00 pm in the Social Sciences and Media Studies Building, Room 2001 (conference room). Please join us for the welcome festivities and introduce yourself to the new 2017 Cohort. Appetizers and drinks will be served.

New Student Orientation begins at 9:00 am, Monday morning, 9/25, in the Global Studies Department conference room, SSMS 2001. This is mandatory for new students. Faculty and staff should arrive at 11:45 for introductions and lunch.
