Larissa Coelho comes from Jundiaí, Brazil, and holds a BA in Journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. After graduating, she worked as a journalist for over six years, including three years as an economics editor at CNN Brasil. While at UCSB, she wishes to research the economic factors and interests that influence the dynamics of global violent conflict. In her free time, Larissa enjoys watching soccer games, traveling, and spending time in nature.
