MD. Sayeed Mostafa (he/him) was born and raised in Bangladesh. Sayeed's keen interest in understanding global economic dynamics has led him to the interdisciplinary Global Studies program at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Sayeed's research interests include Finance, Economics, Development Studies, Tourism, Economic Schools of Thought, Financial Globalization, and Political Economy. His academic journey is driven by a desire to gain a broader perspective on these fields and contribute to solutions for global economic issues.
