Paula Gonzalez (she/her) grew up outside Houston, TX in a Colombian immigrant household. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Wellesley College. She strives to improve health outcomes and healthcare access, focusing on reproductive healthcare, rights, and justice. Paula is interested in community-based and self-advocacy approaches in rural and post-conflict zones in Latin America. In the future, she will continue fighting to ensure that health is a human right as a physician. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, salsa dancing, and traveling.
